Hi, I'm Tanika.
I'm Tanika Harper-Hoover, the educator behind H2 Learning Lab. I help learners build the skills and confidence to take their next step.
With more than 20 years in education, my experience spans English language arts, reading intervention, tutoring, and curriculum development. My instruction combines a clear plan with patient, personalized support.

How do you decide where to start?
We begin with a conversation about your child's needs and your goals. Assessments help identify a starting point and guide recommendations. Assessment details and costs are confirmed before scheduling.
Will my child receive individual attention in person?
Yes. Instruction is personalized to each learner. In-person sessions take place in a shared learning space, so another student may also be receiving support. Depending on the lesson, learners may work independently or with others on a similar skill.
Do you support homeschool families?
Yes. H2 Learning Lab offers homeschool support in reading, writing, and math, along with enrichment opportunities. We can discuss how sessions fit your family's learning goals.
How will I know how my child is progressing?
Assessments, lesson observations, and skill practice help us monitor growth. Parent updates highlight strengths, next steps, and ways to support learning at home.
